My name is Brianna Phelps, and this will be my second-year teaching kindergarten here at Coosada Elementary School! I believe in a student-centered approach to education, and pride myself on building a fun and comfortable learning environment for my students. I grew up in Elmore County, and I am honored to return to serve the community as a teacher. I graduated with my bachelor's degree in elementary education from AUM in 2022, and obtained my master's of education degree there in 2023. I am currently pursuing my doctorate in Educational Leadership, Policy and Law at Alabama State University.

I am married to Jordan Phelps, we are currently residents of Prattville! We have two golden retrievers (Charley and Hank), and two sweet kitty cats (Aubie and Socks). When I'm not at school I enjoy going to live music events, reading, and taking my dog on adventures! Jordan and I are also big Auburn Football fans! During football season you can find us in Auburn, or hosting football parties at our home! 

My favorites: Purple, Saturdays, Dr. Pepper, Starbucks, Panera bread, outdoor themed classroom supplies 

My dislikes: pickles
