I am a "Mississippi Girl." I was born and reared in Mississippi. I attended the University of Southern Mississippi and received a B.S. degree in Elementary Education. I moved to Oklahoma and attended the University of Oklahoma and received a M.S. degree in Reading/Elementary Education. Then I moved to Alabama. My two sons, Jack and Casey, are wonderful and I am very proud of them. And of course, my 7 grandchildren have most of my heart. I know that teaching children is my life's work. There is nothing I would rather do than teach.
