I was born in Alaska while my dad was in the Army. We moved back to Alabama when I was only 3 1/2 so unfortunately, I don't remember much about Alaska.

I began playing piano when I was 10 and then began playing flute a year later when I joined the middle school band.

I married my high school sweetheart 7 years ago and we have two sweet black and white kitties, Rachel Ray Robin Sparkles, and an Australian Shepherd dog names Oakleigh. 

When I'm not making music or teaching lessons, I love to go on walks with my dog and teach her tricks. I also enjoy reading and art projects. 

Education

I graduated from Robertsdale High School in 2004

I graduated from Troy University in 2009 with a bachelors in Music Education

I have also completed Level I Orff Course from Samford and Level II Orff Course in Atlanta.

I am currently pursuing National Board Certification.
